To make troubleshooting faster, include your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, app version, and a short note about whether the issue happened in Library, Wishlist, Notes, Practice, Report, iCloud sync, Premium, or Archived.

  1. Explain the issue in one or two sentences.
  2. List the steps that led to it.
  3. Say whether the issue involves books, titles, Wishlist, notes, practice sessions, recordings, sheet music, the Note Reading Trainer, reports, sync, purchases, or archive actions.
  4. Mention whether copy, share, iCloud sync, or purchase actions were involved.

Common questions

Does KeepTrack: Musical Journey need an internet connection? Normal journal use is designed to work locally on the device. Private iCloud sync can use an internet connection when iCloud is available. Viewing this support site or sending a support email uses your browser or email provider connection.
What information appears in teacher reports? Teacher reports are generated from selected books, active titles, standalone titles, and optional Wishlist entries. The detailed report includes title status and page numbers when saved. Practice note bodies and teacher feedback are not added to reports.
Can I keep old material without deleting it? Yes. Books, titles, and notes can be archived and restored from the Archived tab.
Can I add notes manually? Yes. The app supports written practice and lesson notes, and does not use speech recognition. Since version 2.1.0 it can also ask for microphone access, but only so you can record yourself practising — see the recording question below.
Can I record myself playing? Yes, from version 2.1.0. Open a piece, go to Recordings, and tap Record. iOS asks for microphone access the first time. Takes are saved with the piece, can be renamed or deleted, and play back with a speed control. Recordings stay on the device that made them; they are not uploaded to iCloud in this version, so they do not appear on your other devices yet.
Can I keep sheet music with a piece? Yes. Open a piece, go to Sheet Music, and tap Attach PDF to pick a PDF from the Files app. Attached scores open in a built-in viewer and can also be opened during an active practice session.
What is the Note Reading Trainer? A sight-reading drill with timed rounds, selectable treble, bass, and C clefs, and difficulty tiers. Drill Progress shows your recent rounds and reading rate over time.
Where are support, privacy, and membership settings? Open the Report tab and tap the Settings gear. From there you can email support, manage Apple subscriptions, open the support and privacy pages, view the Impressum, change appearance, or rate KeepTrack on the App Store.

Privacy

KeepTrack: Musical Journey is currently implemented without app-specific accounts, advertising, tracking, analytics SDKs, developer-operated journal storage, public CloudKit databases, or shared CloudKit databases. Private iCloud sync uses the learner's own iCloud account, and Premium purchases use StoreKit. The privacy details for the app are published here:
