KeepTrack Habit Tracker Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the KeepTrack Habit Tracker mobile app. Based on the current app implementation, KeepTrack is designed for private habit tracking and does not collect, sell, or share personal data for advertising or tracking purposes.

What KeepTrack does not collect

  • No developer-operated user accounts or profiles are required.
  • No advertising SDKs or tracking technologies are used.
  • No third-party analytics SDKs were found in the current app implementation.
  • No habit data is sent to a backend server operated for the app.
  • No public posting, messaging, follower, reporting, or blocking system is present.

Data used by the app

KeepTrack stores habit tracker data so the app can show today's habits, streaks, stats, badges, categories, reminders, and history. This may include:

  • habit names, categories, schedules, triggers, and notes
  • minimum and optimal goals, completion type, timer progress, and check-ins
  • streak summaries, badges, skipped days, archive state, and recent history edits
  • reminder times and notification choices selected by the user

Habit data is stored locally using Apple's Core Data framework. The app is configured to sync the private store through Apple's iCloud CloudKit service when iCloud is available for the user.

iCloud and Apple Watch

KeepTrack uses Apple's private iCloud CloudKit infrastructure to sync habit data across the user's own Apple devices. The app also uses WatchConnectivity so the Apple Watch companion app can exchange habit check-ins and Today progress with the paired iPhone.

iCloud sync is provided by Apple and depends on the user's Apple ID, iCloud settings, device connectivity, and system scheduling.

Notifications

KeepTrack can request notification permission when the user enables habit reminders. Reminder notifications are scheduled from the habit information the user saved in the app.

The app also registers for remote notifications used by Apple's CloudKit sync system. Notification settings can be managed in iOS Settings.

Purchases

KeepTrack Premium purchases, subscriptions, lifetime unlocks, and restore purchases are handled through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. The app checks StoreKit entitlement status to unlock premium features.

Apple may process purchase information under Apple's own terms and privacy practices. KeepTrack does not operate its own payment server.

Support email

If you contact support at coding98jones@gmail.com, your email address and any information you include in your message will be used only to respond to your request and manage support.

Email is handled by your email provider and the recipient's email provider, outside the app itself.

Your choices

You can edit, archive, or delete habits in the app. You can manage notification permission in iOS Settings and manage subscriptions or purchases through your Apple ID settings.

Because habit data is stored locally and may sync through iCloud, deleting local app data, removing the app, or changing iCloud settings can affect data availability across devices.

Changes to this policy

If KeepTrack changes how it handles data in a future version, this Privacy Policy should be updated before or at the time the new data practice is introduced.
